Electric Trading Game
Maximize your profit and minimize your carbon footprint over a one-week period (10 MW/20 MWh battery, 85% efficiency, max 2 EFCs per day). One EFC corresponds to a 100% charge and discharge cycle. Depending on the electricity mix at the selected time, buying on the electricity market generates CO2, while selling reduces CO2 emissions. You have three options: buy, sell, or do nothing. Prices are not known in advance, but historical price data is available. Good luck!
