What is the long-term reliability of BESS battery packs?
Price forecasts and simulation assumptions can have a significant impact on battery business plans (BPs) over the long term. In fact, the long-term reliability of BPs is often a topic of discussion during project financing stages.
We started with historical base prices and reanalyzed the simulations using actual prices to assess the reliability of our studies. The results were presented at the INES conference on March 31, 2026: Storage for Flexibility and the Integration of Renewable Energy Sources. The presentation is available below.
